After a 30-year IRS career, I became an Enrolled Agent solving IRS tax issues for all my clients. As a Revenue Officer, I was a Collection employee for the IRS, focusing on liens, levies, offer-in-compromise, and installment agreements.
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax practioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers for audits, collections and appeals before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service.
On August 22, 2014 the Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service issued " a copy of the signed agreement authorizing me to act as a Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA)."
On August 22, 2014 the IRS stated: "We have added your name to Austin Service Center's list of Certifying Acceptance Agents authorized to expedite the processing of Form W-7, "Application for IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)."
